Spring 2021 Commencement
The University of Central Florida In-Person Commencement Ceremony for Spring 2021 will take place from Thursday, May 6, 2021 to Saturday, May 8, 2021. These commencement ceremonies will take place in the Addition Financial Arena.
Each ceremony is on a smaller scale and limited to those students who RSVP’ed by March 19. Students who did not RSVP will not be able to take part in commencements. Graduates can have up to two guests. Graduates will receive electronic tickets on or before April 6, via e-mail to share with their guests.
Graduates will process in and be seated for the ceremony, which will include speakers, the conferral of degrees and a walk across the stage. Face coverings and physical distancing will be required for graduates and guests during the ceremony. The full campus mask policy can be found here. All graduates and guests also must fill out the UCF COVID Self-Checker prior to arriving on campus.
Official UCF regalia is required for graduates and can be ordered from Herff Jones.
Graduates and guests may park in Garage D. Mobility impaired individuals may be dropped off in front of the Addition Financial Arena prior to parking.
Graduates will receive their UCF diploma cover and a program booklet at the event, and professional photos will be taken by GradImages.
Family and friends who are unable to attend can view the live-streamed ceremony online.
Commencement guests should anticipate long lines due to additional security measures. Please leave purses, backpacks, and large bags at home to expedite security screenings. Doors will open 60 minutes prior to the start of the commencement.
